Directions

By Car

If using Sat Nav, please only use until you get to 'Upper Lynstone Caravan Park' ** below - then follow as per our instructions.

From the M5 at Exeter (junction 31), take the A30 signed Bodmin/Okehampton for 27.7 miles to the Southern Cross junction just beyond Okehampton. Turn off signed Plymouth/Tavistock/Sourton, and follow the signs for Holsworthy/Bude for Holsworthy (about 20 miles on the A3079/A3072). From Holsworthy, keep on the A3072 for 8 miles until it's junction with the  A39 at Stratton. Turn left onto the A39, following signs for Bude, then in 0.3 miles, turn right onto the A3072 to Bude. Stay on this road for 1.1 miles to a mini round-about on the outskirts of the town centre, having past the larger roundabout (Morrisons on your right) on the way. At the mini roundabout, bear left, following signs for Widemouth Bay/Lynstone. Continue for 0.7 miles (going over the Bude Canal on the way). On your left will be Lynstone Lane (unsigned) but with signposts for Cerenety Camp Site. Opposite this lane is the large thatched reception building for Upper Lynstone Caravan Park **. Turn left down Lynstone Lane, continue all the way down the lane where you will encounter a T Junction. Turn right at this T Junction and Cerenety is the first set of gates on your right. Please call us on the number below when you arrive.

By Bus

Buses run directly from Exeter and Plymouth throughout the year. It takes about 2 hours from both cities by bus. For bus timetables check travel line SW. The bus will drop you in the center of Bude, after which it is a 15 minute walk or 2 minute taxi ride to Cerenety.

By Foot

From Bude (with the bus stop on your right) follow the river away from the town centre. Go across the bridge on the right of the mini-roundabout. Keep following this road accross the canal bridge,  around the bend and to the left up Lynstone Road hill. At the top of this road you will see a caravan park called 'Upper Lynstone Caravan Park'. Opposite here there is a lane to the left, which is signposted 'Cerenety Campsite'.

Lift Sharing

Cerenety's ideal location enables our visitors to easily walk to town and beaches from the campsite, allowing a 'car free' holiday. We understand that Cornwall is fairly remote, so we encourage lift sharing where possible. If you would like to arrange a lift share, whether you want to have a ride or are willing to pick somebody up, please see our facebook group, where you can pop in the dates of your holiday and your area and connect with other campers. In this way we hope to reduce car usage, help transport logistics and maybe even form some friendships!

We should be fairly easy to find, but don't forget to take our telephone numbers with you (01288 356 778 or 07429 016 962) in case you have problems. We're happy to come and find you at any time, night or day!
