2018 Winners of the Cornwall Sustainability Awards 

We are so proud to have won the Cornwall Sustainability Awards this year for Best Managed Micro Business, sponsored by TEVI. Cerenety was shortlisted from thousands of applicants to win in the field of environment and sustainability in 2018.

 

Cerenety started way back in 2006 and was the brainwave of Candy & Jake who created and built an educational, sustainability project, promoting alternative energy and lifestyle. None of this would have been possible without our incredible family of volunteers and amazing campers. The energy, enthusiasm and fun that everyone puts in to working, living and staying at Cerenety is what creates such a unique place.

We were judged on many categories, including Energy, Pollution, Water Consumption, Transport, Purchasing and the Local Economy, Building and Land use and Eco Systems, Community Participation, Employment Practises and Environmental Management.

We're so excited about the future for our small campsite. We have so many ideas on how to demonstrate more innovative environmental techniques and fun ideas to create a really different camping experience.
