Bude is a fantastic town with many sites to see and, with Cerenety only a 15 minute walk away, you couldn't be in a better position to view them.
Beaches
We have a variety of beaches, the family orientated Crooklets beach, dog friendly Summerlease and the surfer's Widemouth beach. Each one of them is beautiful and no more than 20 minutes away. There are many more secluded beaches around the area, which are fantastic.
Its only a short drive to our nearby villages of Boscastle and Tintagel, where the beaches are equally spectacular.
Town
Bude has grown from an old fishing village and still retains that old sea side feeling. The town has something for everyone, whether you want to shop in our wide range of surf and craft shops, nurse a pint outside one of our many fabulous pubs or row down our spectacular canal.
Nearby is Holsworthy, a traditional Devonshire market town, with the farmers market every Wednesday and the traditional shops and pubs which never lack character.
Kids
Kids can enjoy our local adventure centre where they can learn to surf, rock climb, abseil and many other activities. Our local swimming pool and bowling alley is always a favorite for those possible rainy days! The cycle paths are always a favorite amongst both adults and children.

Areas of Interest
Cornwall is famous for its Eden Project. They built the Eden Project in Cornwall in a disused clay mine, transforming it into arich, global garden. A million people now go there every year to enjoy and learn about nature and to get inspiration about the world around them.
King Arthur's Castle is based in Tintagel, only a 20 minute drive from Bude. Tintagel is situated on the North coast of Cornwall and is renowned for its association with the legend of King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table. The magic of the association is captured particularly by the castle, King Arthur's Castle, which is reached by steps leading from the main land.
