Do you allow campfires? Yes we do, we also have a pile of fire wood which you can use for free in the camping field.
How far is it to town? It is a lovely 20 minute walk to town, which has all the shops and entertainment. If you would like to drive, it will take 2 minutes.
How far is it to the beaches? Our campsite is surrounded by several different beaches. It is about a 20 minute walk to Summerleaze and Crooklets beach in Bude. It is a 5 minute drive to Widemouth Bay, one of the UK's best surfing beaches.
Do you have laundry facilities? This is an eco site where we ask people to use the hand laundry sink sited in the shower and toilet block.
Do you have hookup? We try and remain as close to nature and wild camping as possible therefore we do not provide hookup on the site.
What are the arrival and leaving times? We have a very relaxed atmosphere at Cerenety Camp Site, therefore we have no fixed arrival or departing times. If you would like to arrive after dark we will help see you into your pitch, or if you would like to make the most of your time and leave late on your departure date, this is not a problem.
Can we park our cars next to the tent? For your convenience we allow parking next to your tent, however to create a pleasant environment we ask that you park behind your tent so that you do not obstruct the view.
I am arriving by bus, how do I get to your camp site? We try to help our campers as much as possible where we can, and if we are able we will pick you up from the bus stop free of charge. Please ring us before hand so that this can be arranged.
I am a hiker and find it difficult to stick to a rigid schedule, does it matter if I'm a day late arriving? We are very keen to accommodate hikers and cyclists, therefore we try to be as flexible as possible with your arrival dates. If you have a mobile, please contact us when you know your date of arrival.
My son is cycling from London to Land's End via your camp site, could you give me specific directions to pass on to him? In the past we have often picked up hikers and cyclists on the last leg of their journey, if any of our campers find themselves lost or in trouble, please don't hesitate to call and we will do our best to help.
We are hiking along the Coastal Trail, how far is your campsite from the path? From the Widemouth Bay part of the trail, we are only a 10 minute down hill walk.
